This is the house my mom and I stayed in at Farm Sanctuary. It was named after a turkey that lived there named Turpentine.
All the houses are named after animals that have lived at the sanctuary. Turpentine was a turkey that was rescued from becoming a Thanksgiving dinner.
While you're staying on the farm, they ask that you respect the animals and their work by not eating any animal products (basically going vegan). We're vegetarian so it wasn't too hard. But vegans don't eat ANYthing that comes from animals or is produced by animals. So milk and eggs are out but also so is honey and silk and wool.
The tiny house was really comfortable and it was awesome to see and hear the animals outside your window at night.
